DC ARCHITECTURE PART 1

June 9th, 2018

Washington, D.C.

When one thinks of Washington D.C. it is hard not to think about the architecture. In fact, there are few places where architecture is as front and center as it is here in D.C. As such, D.C. is an ideal place for photographers. Architectural photography is enjoyable for a couple of reasons. What I find most enjoyable about architectural photography is that it makes you work in the details and find perspectives you wouldn't have considered otherwise. In the end it's about getting outside of your photographic comfort zone.

Curating through my photos over the past year made me realize that I need to work on more focused projects in architectural photography, rather than having a random collection like what is presented here. As there are many options to choose from, focusing on and photographing a specific building may not be a bad way to start.
